On 16 December last the Cofradía Vasca de Gastronomía (Basque Gastronomy Fraternity) paid tribute to Vichy Catalán within the different acts held to celebrate its XXXIII Chapter meeting.
The chapter meeting was held in the Plenary Hall, and the Eguzkilore choir gave a concert dedicated especially to Vichy Catalán.
Investiture of the fraternity?s new honorary members took place after the concert, those receiving the honour this year being Marisa Sánchez - chef at the Echaurren restaurant -, Alfonso Zamora - specialist in the milk and cheese industry -, and Jojo Aramburu ? gastronomist from Ciboure.
Following the chapter a few words were dedicated to Mr. Juan B. Renart Cava and all those attending from the Water Fraternity, after which a succulent meal prepared by Rafa Indo was served at the Fraternity
